Five ambitious commitments for 2025

To formalise our ambitions for protecting the environment, we have defined a virtuous roadmap for 2025.

"We Care/We Act" is reflected in five major commitments for 2025:

  • Reduce our carbon footprint: 20% reduction in the kg of CO2 equivalent/m² by 2025
  • Develop our bio-based content: 10% by 2025
  • Increase the percentage of recycled materials in our products: 30% by 2025
  • Expand our range of loose-lay products: 35% by 2025
  • Recycle ever more of our products: 60,000 tons by 2025
A detailed look at our commitments

Reduce our impact at every stage in the lifecycle

From designing solutions through to managing end-of-life products, we have created a standard featuring 11 eco-design criteria for reducing our carbon footprint at every stage in the product lifecycle. These 11 criteria provide a pathway for creating a circular economy:

  • Sustainable procurement of raw materials
  • Use of renewable raw materials
  • Reduction in energy needs per m²
  • Reduction in the production scrap rate
  • Improved load volumes
  • Weight reduction per m²
  • Development of glue-free loose-lay products
  • Reduction in VOCs and volatiles
  • Restricted use of cleaning products
  • Use of recycled materials in our products and packaging
  • Recyclability of our products and packaging

CSR report

Every day, we pursue and build on our CSR strategy. Since 2020, the Group has prioritised its challenges in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our long-standing commitment has now been incorporated into the action plans of all the company's departments. They are driven by a strong set of customer commitments (go over and above requirements, make everyday life easier, protect health and improve well-being) while contributing to sustainable development.
